my fabulous girlfriends at work got together and secretly planned an amazing bachelorette weekend at the fairmont hotel. they did an amazing job! we got these luxurious rooms with huge fluffy beds, stocked them full with snacks and drinks, and then spent the entire afternoon at the spaaaaaaa. and we were the only ones there, so it was great to have the entire place to ourselves and our female bonding. hours were spent lounging in comfy white robes and super soft slippers. most of us were so relaxed and so desperate for the relaxation, that all we could keep saying is, "we should do this more often!"
the timing couldn't have been better, as we were all in the midst of one of the busiest and most stressful periods at work. the fun continued back in our rooms, where we played fun bachelorette party games, got all decked up and went clubbing at night, which i had been wanting to do since i moved here! bib and i are not exactly the clubbing type, but i love any opportunity to go out and go dancing, especially with a group of gorgeous girls!
the next morning, we woke up, heartbroken to have to leave, and had a fabulous breakfast at the hotel.
it was such a fantastic weekend, that it would be great if we could find more excuses/reasons to do this. for the money we spent, it was an incredible and necessary value! i could find lots of ways to justify it!
