so in order to import zooba along with bib, zooba also needs to prepare some paperwork for the trans global journey.
we began by getting him a pet passport, that verifies all the necessary vaccines he's received. last weekend, we had to go back to the vet for some follow up shots and deworming, too. there are 2 things that cats hate, universally: getting bathed, and going into their carrier.
but we recently discovered that these "groovy" treats we got him actually get the cat stoned. straight up, passed out on his back, disoriented, and stoned. and he LOVES them. so we loaded him up with his cat pot, easily put him in his carrier, where he didn't really realize what was going on, until we got to the vet. zooba got his micro chip, now making him ready to travel. and luckily, the US makes it really easy for us. he just needs a final round of shots 2 weeks before we travel, and he can come with us!
since he had been so good, we decided to keep him with us while we ran a few errands, (i.e., shop for glasses for bib for hours!). we did finally get bib a great pair, but zooba was all but interested. bib looks great though!!
he got so upset when we got home that he started to act all hallucinogenic and then hid in the water bottle box for a while. this cat is going to fit in just fine in nyc!
